BFBryan Flowers
Senior Web Designer at Youtech

I design and build large-scale websites that stay fast, accessible, and built to convert.

Thirty-plus launched projects across a fast-paced agency — from 200-page WordPress architectures to landing pages tuned for campaign performance. Research through launch, design through code.

Currently leading priority client builds at Youtech

[01]Selected work

Large-scale builds, from content architecture through launch.

6 projects. Click any card for the full breakdown.

Some of these sites are no longer under my care. Maintenance has since passed to the client or another team, so the live sites may have changed since launch — I can't speak to, or take responsibility for, their current content, condition, or errors.

[02]What sets me apart

The person clients call when the build gets complicated.

Role

Senior technical point of contact

On priority accounts I'm the one in the room with the client. I turn complex technical decisions into plain direction, set expectations that hold, and keep stakeholders confident from kickoff through launch.

  • Client-facing
  • Technical direction
  • Stakeholder management

Education

M.S. in User-Centered Agile Development

A master's from the University of Michigan in exactly this work: shipping user-centered products on agile timelines. It's why research, design, and build don't behave like three separate handoffs when I run a project.

[03]How I work

Plan it, design it, build it. In that order.

01

Plan

Sitemap, content, and templates get decided before design starts.

  • Page structure and content mapped up front.
  • Template system planned so the build scales.
Step 01 visual
02

Design

Wireframes through finished Figma mockups, based on how people actually use the site.

  • Wireframes, prototypes, and full mockups in Figma.
  • Research and testing where it changes the outcome.
Step 02 visual
03

Build

ADA-compliant WordPress that loads fast and keeps converting after launch.

  • Accessibility and page speed built in, not bolted on.
  • Landing pages tuned to campaign performance.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of projects do you take on?

Large-scale WordPress builds, full site redesigns, and conversion-focused landing pages. I'm most useful on projects where the information architecture is complicated enough that someone needs to own it end to end.

Do you design, or do you build?

Both. I design in Figma and build in WordPress, which means the thing that ships is the thing that was designed — no handoff loss, no compromises invented halfway through development.

How do you handle accessibility?

ADA compliance is part of the build spec from the start, not a retrofit. Color contrast, semantic structure, keyboard navigation, and focus states get decided during design, which is much cheaper than fixing them after launch.

Can you lead a team on a larger build?

Yes. I've supervised a team of five designers on a 100+ page build and co-led a team of three on a 200+ page site, keeping execution consistent and the schedule intact.

Have a build that needs an owner? Let's talk.

Open to senior web design and UX roles, plus select freelance projects.
